A critical part of Embrace the Vision’s approach to providing holistic care to orphans, widows and vulnerable women in the Mukono community, is acquiring land to build a quality medical center, a secondary school and additional land for gardening and food production. 

The land we are believing for is adjacent to the existing property of the Embrace community. The ability to expand the current campus would allow for the secondary school to be incorporated into the existing primary school and existing housing. 

The additional land would be adjacent to the new secondary school and become the campus for the medical center, serving the children and the community at large. 

Acquiring the land is a vital first step in the overall strategic plan of caring for this community. The bottom line is, if we don’t have the land, none of our other plans can move forward. 

Because we will be dealing and negotiating with multiple land owners, it is essential we have all the funds in hand, to purchase all parcels of land at the same time, so we don’t drive the prices up.
